Have you ever wondered why you feel drawn to a particular element at certain times in your life? Some of us are naturally drawn to earth for support or water for healing. Sometimes we feel the burn of fire’s passion and are empowered to make a change. Or the wind blows through our hair, and we feel free.
Air. Fire. Water. Earth. These elements live around and within us, and their symbolism can be seen throughout many different cultures. By understanding their presence in us, we can become more aware of our relationship with nature and the divine; and more consciously cultivate balance and unity in our lives.
Each week will be centered around one of the four classical elements. We’ll begin with a short discussion and intention setting, followed by an asana practice designed to help you physically embody and internally connect with the element. We’ll end with meditation to absorb and internalize the practice. All are welcome. Feel free to bring your journal!
